Devotion Music Video “Not Alone”
Joe Jonas and Kahlid unveil their music video for “Not Alone”, from Jonas’ new film Devotion in an article for People.com.
Devotion, which shot in the Savannah region in the first part of 2021, is a film about “a pair of U.S. Navy fighter pilots [who] risk their lives during the Korean War and become some of the Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.”
The film stars Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell and will premier in theaters nation-wide on November 23, 2022.
The Menu: Out In Theaters Friday Nov 18th
The Menu is in theaters this Friday November 18th! The film, according to a review by Thom Ernst for Original Cin, “is the most entertaining ensemble film since Knives Out, and the most engaging horror-satire since Get Out. But no matter what comparisons and assumptions are made, The Menu will not be the movie you expect.” The Menu was filmed entirely in the Savannah region employing many Savannah crew members.

Mountain Film On Tour Savannah Screening
Don’t miss this special Mountainfilm on Tour Savannah screening at Service Brewing!

Mountainfilm on Tour – Savannah hosts a special screening of documentary films in honor of Veterans Day each year where attendees can enjoy food, drink, and a series of fascinating documentary films.
The 9th Annual Honoring Our Veterans event features a playlist of seven short documentary films including:
- Stranger at the Gate: Returning home from a long career in the U.S. Marine Corps, Richard “Mac” McKinney found himself struggling under the weight of a ferocious rage fueled by 25 years of an indoctrinated hatred of Muslims. Desperate to take action in the name of his country, McKinney set out to commit an unthinkable crime against his community’s mosque. His plans took an unexpected path however when he faced his enemy head-on.
- Breaking Trail: Filmmaker and Film Subject Emily Ford sets out with a borrowed Husky sled dog, Diggins, to complete the 1,200-mile Ice Age Trail in the midst of winter. Not only is she the first woman to attempt the feat, but she is also the first LBGTQ+ person of color to embark on the adventure. As her story gathers momentum in local, national and international press, Emily learns she’s become a figurehead to encourage those who don’t feel like they belong in wild places — especially people of color — to spend more time in nature.
- Loon: When hiking the Appalachian Trail, thru-hikers often choose a trail name that says something about their home or their history. Mike Freed, now in his 80s, chose the name Loon as a symbol of the spirit of the wild, interconnected lakes of his Minnesota homeland. The Appalachian Trail is also where Loon had a revelation about what course of action to take with his 2,000-acre expanse of unfragmented land in the pristine Boundary Waters.
General admission: $25. Veterans get in FREE! Please text 912.344.1278 to reserve veteran tickets.

Locally-Made ‘A Savannah Haunting’ Opens in Theaters Halloween Weekend
“A Savannah Haunting” is coming to Pooler’s Royal Cinemas IMAX on Oct. 28. It will also play in select theaters across the country. The film will also be available on all major digital platforms including iTunes, Apple TV and Amazon.
Savannah is known as one of the most haunted places in the country, yet the Hostess City has never been the main setting for a haunted house film— until now. “A Savannah Haunting” is a film based on true events that the writer and director, William Mark McCullough, and his family experienced at their home.
Originally from Savannah, McCullough left for California to pursue his acting career. After several years spent living and working in Los Angeles, McCullough found himself back in Savannah to deal with some family issues. He returned to his childhood home and immediately took notice of the abnormal things happening there.
