Shoot Dates: 6/3, 6/4 & 6/7

Shoot Location: Savannah area

Rates: $120/day (non-union/non-speaking/local hires)

Breakdown:

6/3 (Sat): Police Station ( in Effingham, GA)

“Police,” ”Neighbors,” & “Reporters”: Male and Female, 20s-60s, any ethnicity. Please note if you have a police uniform as well.

6/4 (Sun): (in Richmond Hill)

“Kids”: Male & Female, 6-11yo, any ethnicity. Please note age.

“Parents”: Male & Female, 20s-40s, any ethnicity

“Community Center Workers”: Male & Female, 20s-50s, any ethnicity

6/7 (Wed): Cafe (in Savannah)

“Patrons”: Male& Female, 20s-60s, any ethnicity

The official trailer for The Color Purple the musical has been released.

The film is the musical adaptation of Alice Walker’s novel by the same name and portrays the horrific hardships of an African American woman living in the south in the early 1900s.

Parts of the film were shot last year all over the Savannah region. See if you can recognize any of our locations in the trailer.

The film is set to release in theaters this Christmas!
