This year, we’re launching a new Tier 1 Local Film Production Rebate, created specifically to uplift and empower independent filmmakers. With a minimum $1M budget and rebates up to $100,000 for qualified local spend, this tier reflects our belief that independent storytelling is vital for a film industry to thrive.

This new program joins our established incentives — the $4M / $175K production tier and the $5M+ / $300K series tier, giving creators more pathways than ever to bring their stories to life in our region.
