According to an article on movieweb.com, A Jazzman’s Blues’, a Tyler Perry movie that filmed in the Savannah region last year, will premier at the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival on August 6th. A Jazzman’s Blues’ , “follows an investigation into an unsolved murder unveiling a story full of forbidden love, deceit and a secret.” The film is rumored to air on Netflix in September.
Filmmakers from all over the Savannah, GA area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours.
