Seeking talent that is missing a limb in real life ONLY. Please do not submit unless you are an actual Amputee that is missing a limb. Production is especially seeking those with left arm amputations.

Fitting: TBD Fitting is required.

COVID Testing: TBD Mandatory. You MUST COVID test with Production in Savannah the day before each work date. Mandatory, no exceptions even if you have been vaccinated. You will receive the COVID Test Bump only on non-filming days. You will also be required to COVID test the day before your costume fitting.

Vehicle: Transportation not provided. You must have reliable transportation to and from Covid testing, fitting, and filming date.

Must be willing to work as local, no additional gas or travel bumps.

“A Savannah Haunting” is coming to Pooler’s Royal Cinemas IMAX on Oct. 28. It will also play in select theaters across the country. The film will also be available on all major digital platforms including iTunes, Apple TV and Amazon. 

Savannah is known as one of the most haunted places in the country, yet the Hostess City has never been the main setting for a haunted house film— until now.  “A Savannah Haunting” is a film based on true events that the writer and director, William Mark McCullough, and his family experienced at their home. 

Originally from Savannah, McCullough left for California to pursue his acting career. After several years spent living and working in Los Angeles, McCullough found himself back in Savannah to deal with some family issues. He returned to his childhood home and immediately took notice of the abnormal things happening there.

GENERAL BG RATE: $130/10hr

$130 guaranteed for the shoot date- most days are expected to be between 8-10 hours (some less). If the shoot happens to go over 10 hours overtime will be granted at time and a half.

STAND IN RATE: $175/12hr

**All minor’s must have a valid GDOL Minor’s in Entertainment permit- this can easily be obtained in 1-2 business days via the GDOL website at no cost**

Everyone on this project must be able to provide proof of vaccination (first booster required if eligible)

HIGH SCHOOL ACTING STUDENTS: Ages 18 and up to play younger. This will be a small intimate group sharing a scene with Natalie Portman leading the class. This is a fantastic opportunity for young local actors to watch an Academy Award winning actress at work- consider it a paid masterclass in acting. Looking for those with acting ability to fill these slots.

Georgia Film Academy seeks Film & Television Production Instructor for Savannah, GA for Spring 2023!

The Georgia Film Academy is seeking a film production professional to deliver curriculum at the undergraduate level to students interested in launching a career in film and television production in Savannah, GA. The course. GFA 1000 Intro to on Set Film Production includes study of on-set production crafts such as: Grip, Electric, Lighting, Camera, Sound, Art Department, Wardrobe, Locations and more. As an instructor, you serve as a guide to translate set etiquette, terminology and protocols to students in a way that makes it become a second language and prepares them for success in the industry.

Experience:

-5+ years of Film & Television on-set production experience. Union productions preferred

-College Degree preferred

-Teaching experience is a plus, but not required

October 2022 Production Assistant Training Class taught by Witt Lacy (DGA)

We are now accepting applications for an upcoming PA Training Class taught by DGA Assistant Director, Witt Lacy. This training is offered at no cost and is ideal for those who want to, and are serious about, starting to work in the entertainment industry. The class will take place Saturday October 1st & Sunday October 2^nd – 8AM to 4PM (Each Day).  You MUST be available both training days, be at least 18 years old, have legal status to work within the United States, and a local resident of the Savannah region.  COVID-19 protocols will be observed.  Student applicants must be seniors, or graduate students with open availability to work. Spaces are limited and submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the training.
