According to an article on movieweb.com, A Jazzman’s Blues’, a Tyler Perry movie that filmed in the Savannah region last year, will premier at the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival on August 6th. A Jazzman’s Blues’ , “follows an investigation into an unsolved murder unveiling a story full of forbidden love, deceit and a secret.” The film is rumored to air on Netflix in September.
A HUGE congratulations to everyone who worked on the The Underground Railroad, an Amazon Original TV miniseries, which just won the prestigious 2022 Peabody Award in the Entertainment category! The Peabody Awards, “represent the most compelling and empowering stories released in broadcasting and streaming media during 2021.”
The Menu is a dark comedy about a young couple that travel to a remote island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises. The movie filmed last year in the Savannah region and the film’s official teaser trailer was released by Searchlight Pictures. The Menu is reportedly coming out in theaters on November 2022.
The official teaser trailer for the movie Devotion has been released. You would never know that this Korean War drama filmed almost entirely in the Savannah Region last year. Devotion has a limited release on Oct 14th and a nation wide release on Oct 28th 2022.

The feature film centers on Will Spann (Gerard Butler), who is driving his soon-to-be ex-wife Lisa (Jamie Alexander) to her parents’ home when she mysteriously disappears without a trace during a stop at a gas station.
The movie filmed in Savannah and all over our region including Wilmington Island, Bloomingdale, and Rincon.
“Last Seen Alive” is reported to be in theaters in the US June 3!
